About the role

Would you like to become part of our top team? We are looking for an instructor on a fixed-term contract for the Oma Häme Disability Services Activity Center Säpinä's day activities in Hattula. The work is day-shift and begins on September 1, 2026. The contract is fixed-term until August 31, 2027. Due to changes in client situations, we need an instructor for our team to primarily work with clients requiring individual guidance. We work in close cooperation with the Juteinikoti residential unit, and if necessary, you will also participate in clients' morning routines at the residential unit. Your duties may also include transporting clients, so a driver's license is essential. We require experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. Additionally, it is a plus if you have expertise in speech-supporting and alternative communication methods, autism rehabilitation, or mental health work. You have good prospects for succeeding in your work if you have a genuine interest in intellectual disability work, an appreciative and respectful attitude, good community and interaction skills, and a desire to develop our unit's operations and build our team's spirit. Qualification requirements are a suitable vocational qualification in social and health care or a lower university degree (e.g., Socionomi), and registration in Valvira's Suosikki and Terhikki professional registers. The selected person is required to have a passed LOVe medication management online test and a hygiene passport. We will hire the employee as soon as a suitable person is found. The workplace address is Pappilanniementie 9, 2nd floor, 13880 Hattula. The position-specific salary is €2,611.70/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement ranging from 3% to 8%. The accumulation of leave days is also determined based on length of service. Working hours are 35.25 hours per week. Applications must be submitted through the Kuntarekry system by the end of the application period. Those working with disabled persons must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.4 of the Criminal Records Act, in accordance with Section 28.1 of the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023). Remuneration and other terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. A probationary period applies. Immediate patient and client work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a respiratory tuberculosis clearance as per Section 55.
