Sheet metal machining center and laser programmer role in Vaasa. As a sheet metal machining center and laser programmer you will handle essential early-stage production tasks and ensure programming of punching centers and laser cutting machines is timely and aligned with production needs. Your duties include reading CAD drawings and technical specifications, preparing NC programs for laser cutting and punching centers, and designing part placement on material sheets to minimize waste. You will determine cutting orders, necessary tools, and machine settings, and participate in process optimization. We expect prior experience in programming punching centers and/or laser cutting machines, and strong ability to read technical drawings. A careful, methodical work style and the ability to understand production-wide contexts are required. The position is permanent with prospects for progression.
