Personal assistant

A meaningful, varied role supporting daily living for a client with mobility challenges. The job involves assisting with morning routines, personal care, cooking, shopping, getting around, and participating in activities. The position is not a care or social interaction role, but focuses on practical support to enable independent living. The client is a 59-year-old woman who uses a power wheelchair and has partial mobility limitations. The work involves two shifts per day (morning starting around 7:30 and evening ending around 23:00–24:00) on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to cover colleagues in case of unexpected absence. A paid orientation shift (3–4 hours) is provided at the start with an experienced assistant. The role requires fluency in Finnish and good physical condition to assist with transfers and daily tasks. The employer emphasizes a respectful, proactive, and cooperative approach; prior experience is welcome but not required. Training occurs prior to starting. Compensation: hourly wage 14.39 €/hour with surcharges: +15% evening, +25% Saturday, +30% night after 21:00, +100% Sunday/holiday, plus any applicable collective agreement allowances.
