As a personal assistant, your most important task is to support our client's preferred way of life and make everyday life run smoothly, both at home and outside it. You help with ordinary daily activities that the client would do independently but cannot manage alone because of a disability or illness. You ensure that our client receives the best possible support, can live life on their own terms and enjoy an active life as part of the community. Tasks may include assistance with mobility, housekeeping, cooking, hobbies, personal hygiene, social visits, errands, or at school and work. Pay follows the private social services sector collective agreement, grade G16A (hourly pay depending on years of experience €13.20–€14.51, plus agreement-based shift supplements). The employment relationship is on an as-needed, hourly basis, so you can work according to your own schedule. Hours vary depending on the client. If you wish, you may have several clients. We do not require specific education or previous experience; genuine interest in disability support and assistance is what matters most. You want to support the client's preferred way of life, follow their instructions and respect their right to self-determination. Spoken and written Finnish is essential for the role. Those selected must have vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act.
