Kitchen Assistant

Food service professional, join Kaarea Oy’s school and daycare kitchen team as a food service worker in the Kaarea school-dining kitchen! We are seeking a motivated and skilled food service worker for a permanent position in the service kitchen to Turku, at the Amistoteleksessä site on Lemminkäisenkatu. The shift is 20 hours per week. About 300–350 students dine there daily for lunch. We mainly serve on weekdays, so weekends are free. The site is not worked alone. Your duties include restocking the line, dishwashing, cleaning, self-supervision, and most importantly cheerful customer service. Hygienic exam/pass is required. The selected person must present a criminal background check concerning working with children within three weeks of starting the employment. What we expect from you? A service attitude that delights customers and colleagues. A professional qualification in the field or previous experience as a food service worker. Ability to work independently and to organise tasks. You won’t be deterred by physically demanding work or rapidly changing situations. Fluent Finnish. What we offer?
