Early Childhood Teacher

We are looking for a permanent Early Childhood Teacher for Maittorpan day care in Vantaa to start 1 September 2026 or as agreed. The day care has four groups and operates in a calm residential area. We actively use nearby playgrounds and organize forest trips regularly. Our facilities support strong small-group activities in line with the early childhood education plan. We are part of the ProVaka model, which emphasizes positive feedback to guide behavior. Adults act as examples to children, and the model supports inclusive learning environments and develops a shared approach to guidance that values social skills. In our unit, two broad-scope special educators assist and support you, especially in child support matters. A development analyst supports collaboration with families. For the teaching schedule, one full Sak- day is planned for the teaching team, and once a week all teachers have a common Sak time during the day.
