Sales Director

Tomi Rouvinen started at Laattapiste-Pukkila in 2009 as a specialist in tiles and has progressed through project manager and unit manager roles to lead the national sales organization. He now manages the entire sales team across Finland, focusing on strategic planning, personnel management, and customer development. Tomi studied business administration at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences and worked at K-Rauta during his studies. His work in building materials sparked his interest in construction, leading him to apply for Laattapiste in 2009. Initially working in consumer sales, he designed bathrooms, selected materials, and handled housing company renovations. After a year and a half, he moved to project management in the construction team, building the renovation market from scratch. His sales grew from about three million to seventeen million euros. In 2015, he wrote a sales strategy still in use today. In 2018, he was asked to become the sales director, which he accepted despite initial hesitation, valuing customer work highly. His leadership emphasizes clear goals, trust, fairness, and team development, with a focus on soft values and strategic growth. Tomi finds ongoing development motivating, especially seeing team members succeed and improve.
