Job Description
My client is a well-established multi-strategy hedge fund hiring for a Junior / Mid Level Full Stack Engineer. You’ll work in a flat-structured, centralised tech team (<10 people) headed by the CTO. They’re responsible for building tech solutions across multiple verticals (Trading, Risk, Operations…) and have direct exposure to Portfolio Managers. You will be working on data heavy applications and build responsive UIs for Portfolio Managers. The firm average retention rate for engineers is 5+ years, they use a modern tech stack (Java21 / AWS / Docker / K8s) and devs work directly with end users (they don’t employs product / project managers). Requirements: Commercial experience in React (UI, data visualisation) and Java. Any experience with cloud tech / distributed systems is highly valued.
