We are currently seeking a metal worker for Europress Group Oy in Kerava for a temporary two‑month period, with potential for extension depending on Europress’ needs. Europress Group Oy, founded in the 1970s, is the leading manufacturer in Northern Europe of scrap presses and balers, and aims to be a responsible pioneer in smart recycling technology with a strong emphasis on quality, sustainability and environmental responsibility. The Kerava factory employs about 60 specialists in welding, assembly and surface treatment. Your day‑to‑day tasks include working in Europress’ Kerava maintenance hall in a versatile, supportive role as part of a skilled team. You will map and document scrap presses and balers due for maintenance, enter related data into Europress’ maintenance system, move goods with a forklift, assist with machine washing using a pressure washer and support the maintenance staff with repair and modification tasks. You will need solid basic IT skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, and you should be prepared to learn Europress’ own maintenance system, for which onboarding will be provided. The job is partly physical and hands‑on, suitable for someone who takes on a variety of tasks. The weekly work time is 40 hours, from Monday to Friday, 7:00–15:00. Employment follows the Teknologiateollisuus collective agreement. We value basic tools familiarity and practical approach, strong IT basics and Microsoft Office mastery, good teamwork and willingness to handle varied tasks, proactive and motivated attitude, MIG welding experience considered an asset, and forklift driving skills.
