Machinist

We are looking for an experienced machinist for a permanent position in Oravaisiin for our client. You will work with versatile and demanding turning/milling operations, handling large components and contributing to high-quality metal parts and complete solutions for industrial needs. The job starts as a six-month fixed-term through Carrot, with a possibility of permanent placement on the client’s payroll after the term. The schedule is 40 hours per week and two-shift operation is expected. Responsibilities include performing machining largely on larger pieces, reading drawings, ensuring quality from start to finish, and programming/operating machines with HEIDENHAIN controls. You should be precise, own your tasks, and be able to work independently, with a colleague, and as part of a team. We value initiative and genuine interest in the work. Requirements include experience in machining, proficiency with HEIDENHAIN and/or Siemens programming, experience with larger workpieces, good motivation, ability to work independently, and Finnish language skills.
