We are seeking a dedicated social pedagogue for early childhood education to join our multidisciplinary team at Ylästö Daycare Center (Ylästön päiväkoti) in Vantaa. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities in collaboration with other professionals, and taking responsibility for parenting cooperation. You will contribute to community and inclusion efforts and work to promote children’s wellbeing and participation. The position is located at Ylästö Daycare, a six-group facility near Ylästö School with access to outdoor spaces and nearby nature. You will work in a 2–4 year-olds group alongside a kindergarten teacher and a childminder. The team emphasizes a supportive, collaborative, and respectful atmosphere, and we value responsive, child-centered practice. The salary is 3113–3218 EUR per month, with a seniority-based supplement of 3–8%. The contract is permanent with a probation period of 6 months. The job is full-time (38 h 15 min per week). Requirements: social pedagogue qualification for early childhood education under the Early Childhood Education Act; compliance with KVTES terms; criminal background check and TB clearance as required by health authorities.
