Early Years Teaching Assistant

Assistant role supporting pupils with their daily routines, primarily in the preschool group, at Alavieska Comprehensive School. The position is a fixed-term contract from 1 September 2026 to 19 December 2026, with 19 hours per week. If need for support continues, the contract may continue into January 2027. We are looking for someone to join our pleasant work community at Alavieska Comprehensive School. The school serves pupils from 0 to 9th grade, with 336 pupils. The most important thing for our staff is that pupils feel safe and well. Safety and well-being come from adults setting boundaries and guiding appropriate behavior. We work together with pupils, families and partners. The job includes a two-month trial period and a criminal background check as required by law.
