Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for taking SELECT to the next level by architecting and developing new features. You'll be collaborating with the founders and other engineers, and contribute your ideas to our roadmap and software design. Responsibilities include creating new cost management features such as forecasts, anomaly alerts and cost allocations to help users stay on top of costs, developing reusable UI components for a seamless cost exploration experience, building data visualization capabilities to communicate performance, query timing and efficiency, creating data pipelines and dbt models to surface insights, and improving the reliability and performance of our application. You will identify meaningful problems, own features end-to-end from design to delivery, iterate quickly with strong judgment, and contribute to clear proposals and documentation. Qualifications include backend and data engineering experience, strong Python, system design experience, and excellent English. Bonus points for FinOps and cloud cost management, startup experience, and experience with FastAPI, Postgres, dbt, Dagster, Snowflake. This is a full-time, remote role with a global team.
