We are hiring at Mäntynummen Comprehensive School for a fixed-term Mathematics and Chemistry teacher for the period 11 September 2026 to 31 July 2027. The qualification required is a chemistry teaching credential. The position may also include teaching mathematics and physics. Mäntynummen Comprehensive School, Lohja, has about 500 pupils and operates in current temporary premises in Mäntynummi (grades 1–6), in Lohja town centre at Rantapuisto (grades 7–9) and in Linnaisi, with a new multifunctional building and school planned to be completed in 2029. A mentoring teacher will assist you during onboarding and support you as a new member of our community. There is a well-functioning student welfare group with which you will collaborate. Requirements include strong pedagogical skills and subject mastery, group management abilities, experience differentiating instruction according to student ability, knowledge of the curriculum, and good communication and collaboration skills. It is advantageous to have experience as a classroom teacher.
