Permanent position as a special education teacher in early childhood education in Etelä-Leppävaara. The job involves a broad early childhood education unit formed by Vermo and Lipunkantajanpolku day-care centers. As a broad-scope special education teacher you act as an expert in pedagogy and special education, participate in planning, assessment, implementation and monitoring of child support in collaboration with the educational community, guardians and partners. Emphasis on modelling, observation and co-teaching in groups, guiding staff in special education methods. Hearing guardians on child support decisions is part of the work. You will help develop pedagogy and inclusive practices in your units. The team includes a unit lead, deputy, and a broad team of educators and administrators. A mentor will be assigned from the region. Espoo offers extensive training opportunities and supports professional development.
