We are seeking a bilingual (Finnish and English) early childhood education special education teacher who is passionate about development work and the field. The unit is an eight-group day care, with two groups being preschool groups, functioning in connection with Vantaa International School and serving up to 154 children. The role involves evaluating children’s support needs, planning and implementing support, and assessing its effectiveness in collaboration with the rest of the early childhood staff. You will contribute to developing an inclusive culture in the unit together with the day care director, participate in planning and evaluation processes, and focus on pedagogical expertise and close cooperation with various stakeholders. You will work with the unit’s staff, the day care director, and other service providers for families. Requirements include strong special education competencies and a friendly, encouraging team player attitude. Strong Finnish written and spoken proficiency is required.
