Early Childhood Teacher

Two temporary positions for early childhood teachers at Tikkurilan daycare in Vantaa. One position is for an evening group for children under 3, with shifts between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. The other is for a day group for 3-5-year-olds. We seek a flexible and motivated worker who listens to the child with a sensitive ear and is genuinely present in the child’s everyday life. We view the child’s growth, development and learning as a positive path walked together with the child, parents and the whole team. Our daycare supports teachers in diverse pedagogical structures. Regular joint teacher meetings (SAK-hours) develop and evaluate the unit’s pedagogical activities. A broad-scope special educator supports your work. Two directors oversee pedagogical and administrative leadership. The daycare is located near excellent rail and bus connections, with access to libraries and cultural services. Interested? Qualifications: Early childhood educator (per the local law). Terms follow the Municipal Teaching Personnel collective agreement (OVTES). Salary: 3129.71 EUR/month. An additional 15 EUR/month is paid for holders of the required qualification, and 37.88 EUR/month for a Master’s in education. Experience-based pay adds 3–8%. Required licenses: Police background check; TB screening for those working with under-3s. Number of positions: 2. Trial period: 2 months. Full-time; contract type: Työsuhde.
