Daycare Assistant

You will contribute to the smooth daily life of our daycare by supporting children’s wellbeing and a safe, clean environment. As a roaming daycare assistant, you will work across all eight Touhula daycares in Vantaa: Aarrekallio, Hiekkaharju, Ilola, Jalokivi, Kaivocksala, Korso, LoistoVekara and Veromies. Your duties are varied and include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene according to Touhula’s cleaning program; stand-by kitchen duties such as dishwashing, receiving goods, placing orders, and maintaining records in accordance with the self-monitoring plan; laundry and supplies management; working in multiple units, showing flexibility, independence, and willingness to develop operations in collaboration with different teams; supporting children’s everyday life when needed (e.g., dressing) to ensure a safe and smooth day for every child. You will be supported by Touhula’s coordinator. There will be opportunities to contribute to child welfare across the centers. We offer a full-time salary between €2,314.99 and €2,622.84 per month, depending on experience and any specific pay supplements. Curious?
