Responsibilities
- Lead installation and commissioning of assigned systems and options, ensuring compliance with factory specs and training users.
- Execute scheduled and emergency maintenance with precision, diagnose root causes, validate repairs against performance benchmarks.
- Build trust and long-term relationships through responsive communication and hands-on training.
- Provide remote support to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate critical components and implement upgrades to ensure reliability and throughput.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Life Science or related technical field.
- 5–8 years of field service experience in microscopy or analytical instrumentation.
- Proficient with diagnostic instruments: Digital multimeters, Oscilloscopes.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating system.
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and system integration schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
- Physically agile; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel extensively Monday through Friday.
