Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation and commissioning of assigned systems and options, ensuring compliance with factory specs and training users.
  • Execute scheduled and emergency maintenance with precision, diagnose root causes, validate repairs against performance benchmarks.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships through responsive communication and hands-on training.
  • Provide remote support to minimize downtime.
  • Calibrate critical components and implement upgrades to ensure reliability and throughput.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Life Science or related technical field.
  • 5–8 years of field service experience in microscopy or analytical instrumentation.
  • Proficient with diagnostic instruments: Digital multimeters, Oscilloscopes.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system.
  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and system integration schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
  • Physically agile; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively Monday through Friday.
