Junior Technical Purchaser We are seeking a technical purchaser for SATA Shipbuilding Oy for a permanent position. We are looking for a proactive and meticulous person who enjoys a technical work environment and wants to help ensure smooth material procurement. The role offers a diverse workload combining interpretation of technical drawings, procurement work and collaboration with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include: - reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation - procurement of pre-forms according to drawings - issuing tenders and processing orders - contacting suppliers - monitoring purchases and ensuring deliveries - collaboration with production, design and other internal stakeholders - maintaining purchase data in the company's ERP system and with Office software The job is largely autonomous, so success requires good organizational skills, precision and a responsible work attitude. We expect: - ability to read and understand technical drawings and other technical documentation - thorough, systematic and independent work approach - good skills using Office programs - willingness to learn and develop own expertise - good collaboration and interpersonal skills - fluency in Finnish and English Nice to have: - experience with shipbuilding pre-forms, e.g. piping assemblies, and related components and materials - experience in operational purchasing Previous purchasing experience is not required; the most important is technical understanding and the ability to interpret technical documentation—we will train you in procurement and provide necessary support for success.
