Cable Jointing Technician for international cable projects

We are seeking cable jointing technicians at various career stages to work on international land and sea cable projects. Work sites are mainly located in Germany. In the role you will be involved in the manufacture, installation, testing and other tasks related to HV/MV/EHV cable jointing. Joints connect different cable sections into a single cable line. The work involves precise manual work where cable structures are rebuilt step by step using special methods and tools. You will work as part of an international team where each member has an important role in project success. The work is practical and requires carefulness, accuracy and a commitment to safe working practices. Work will be performed at project sites in Germany and other European countries. The job includes substantial travel and working in changing environments. A typical work period is three weeks on site followed by a one-week break. We expect you to have technical training or a technical background, an interest in technical and practical tasks, careful and safety-conscious work attitude, good collaboration and communication skills, willingness to work in an international environment, basic English, driving license B, and willingness for broad international travel. Previous experience with cable jointing, electrical installations, industrial installation or production tasks or other technical work is regarded as an advantage but not required.
