ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER'S WORK AT JYSK - You are responsible for the store's sales leadership, B2B sales, and continuously train the team on various JYSK concepts. - Goals guide your work: we all have a clear direction and a desire to exceed expectations. - You work closely as a partner to the store manager and also receive leadership responsibilities and tasks. - You serve as a good example for the whole team, prioritize and delegate weekly tasks among the team, support shift planning, take care of campaign changes, team communication, monitor key figures and take necessary actions, and ensure the store is always commercial and ready for customers. - Weekly tasks also include active feedback to the team helping them succeed in their work. - The work requires good basic fitness, but you will have the best tools and team support. - Versatility – store, warehouse, campaigns... boredom is not in our vocabulary. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU - You have the motivation to work as a supervisor and lead the team to results by your own example. - Experience and evidence from, for example, shift lead positions are considered an advantage, but not essential. - You are sales-minded, and productivity and exceeding goals are important things in your work. You also want to sell and succeed in every shift. - You consider training, onboarding, and guiding others as part of your strengths. - You tolerate incompleteness, because there is a lot to do and not everything can always be finished at once. - You are at your best in a rush and in a fast-paced environment. You like a fast pace and unexpected tasks during the shift. - You are proactive and independent, and you get energy from teamwork and exceeding your own goals. - You are flexible regarding tasks, working hours, and times. Work is done in varying shifts in the morning, evening, and weekends.
