The club instructor position consists of planning and leading club sessions independently, setting up required materials and tidying spaces after each session. The instructor should prepare in advance for sessions and acquaint themselves with the themes. The instructor is responsible for the safety of the group and for maintaining a safe, encouraging, and joyful atmosphere in the club. In clubs, participants explore art, dance, and creative activities in a diverse way. We hope the instructor has interest and skills in dance, visual arts, crafts, or other creative disciplines. Previous hobby or work experience is considered an advantage. Clubs are organized in Espoo area in association with schools and other suitable club spaces. They are held on weekdays, mainly afternoons after the school day. We expect from you: full age, responsible and proactive work attitude, good and natural way of interacting with children, experience working with children or youth, preferably some education in the field of children or youth, interest in dance, art and creative activities, ability to plan and implement club sessions independently, readiness to take care of children’s safety and club premises cleanliness. Prior experience with special needs or diverse groups is considered an advantage. The selected candidate will present a criminal record extract as required by law ( rikosrekisterilain 6 §:n 2 momentin mukainen rikosrekisteriote ) if applicable.
