Laboratory Nurse

Lead with the role of a licensed laboratory nurse responsible for sample collection duties at Meilahti hospital area, joining HUS Diagnostics Center. The position is in three shifts and includes mainly sample collection tasks, with opportunities to perform point-of-care testing and blood gas analyses at the New Children’s Hospital. The team supports you with colleagues and supervisors as you perform patient-facing duties. An individualized onboarding plan will be tailored to your experience, and more responsibilities will be assigned as you progress. You will work independently in sample collection with a strong emphasis on ensuring sample quality. Centralised onboarding and ongoing professional development are provided. You can influence your shifts and work station placements with the scheduling software.
