Cashier positions for Christmas help, Kuopio City Centre & Kuopio Kolmisoppi (temporary 10-20h/wk)

We are looking for two customer-service oriented and genuinely positive cashiers to join the Christmas season at Kuopio Kolmisopi and Kuopio City Centre Tokmanni. Duties focus on checkout and customer service. Departmental work includes receiving and shelving products, planning and executing product displays, and keeping the store pleasant for customers. A key part of the role is helping customers with questions, and supporting each other as a team. The position is a two-month fixed-term contract. Start date is by agreement, no later than 1 November 2026, with a weekly schedule of 10-20 hours. You may also work some hours at nearby stores. We will hire promptly when a suitable colleague is found. You must be at least 18 years old, have a cheerful attitude, good interpersonal and teamwork skills, and enjoy fast-paced retail. You should be proactive, able to finish tasks efficiently, and be able to work varied shifts on weekdays and weekends. You take pride in your work and are interested in developing your skills. Ability to serve customers in Finnish; good English is a plus. Physically capable of moving heavy products. Prior retail education or experience is a plus, but not essential.
