ILS Engineer

The ILS Engineer role at Patria involves ensuring that the vehicle systems and equipment designed by Patria operate efficiently and reliably throughout their life cycle. The position works in close collaboration with designers, system suppliers and project management, and may involve interfacing with customers and suppliers depending on the assignment. Responsibilities include analyzing and implementing maintainability, reliability, and maintainability aspects of delivered products, ensuring operation of systems and components, availability of spare parts and tools, and supporting correct maintenance. The role includes developing maintenance plans and recommendations, defining and optimizing spare parts, and functioning as a product-support expert within the project team across bidding, design and production phases. We expect a proactive, independent person who can work as part of a larger experienced team and receive thorough onboarding. The position offers the chance to work with unique products in a distinctive environment, with 50% remote work available. We look for someone with a suitable university degree (DI/engineering) and fluent Finnish and English, with prior engineering project experience considered a plus.
