- Financial Management & Reporting

- Identifying financial risks and opportunities
- Year-end accounts, accruals and financial statements
- Budget forecasts and medium-term financial planning
- Business Partnering to Children’s Services budget holders
- Provide robust financial advice to support operational decision-making
- Attend departmental meetings and present financial information
- Support savings initiatives and transformation projects
- Financial analysis of high-cost placements
- Produce financial models and scenario analyses
- Analyse data related to placements, staffing and service demand
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with local authority regulations
