Position: Fixed-term Basic Education Special Class Teacher at Ritaharju School from October 9, 2026 to June 5, 2027. Ritaharju School is a comprehensive school with about 800 students in grades 1–9. Our operating focus emphasizes future skills such as collaboration, interaction, and thinking skills, and student participation. We are a development-oriented school built on shared work and mutual respect, offering strong collegial support, effective structures for collaboration, and opportunities to develop expertise within subject teams. We share knowledge, try new things, and collectively develop school operations, valuing both students and colleagues. Qualifications follow the provisions of the Decree on the Qualifications of Teaching Personnel (986/1998). Original degree certificates must be presented at the interview if required. Salary is determined according to the Municipal Teaching Sector collective agreement. Before appointment, at latest within 30 days of receiving the decision, the successful candidate must produce a criminal background check concerning work with children (Act 504/2002, section 3).
