Fostering Parents for Validia Family Care

We are seeking foster parents for Validia Family Care in Lahti. The role entails welcoming a child into your family and sharing everyday life, providing a stable, caring home, and facing the challenges with patience and flexibility. The position is based on a service contract that specifies remuneration and allowances. Training or preparation (PRIDE or equivalent) is required, and if missing, you will receive it from Validia Family Care before starting. We offer ongoing support after training, including mentoring, supervision, additional training, and family activities. A home helper and time off under Family Care Legislation are available if needed. We hope for a stable life situation and resources to commit to the child’s daily life, and value cooperation with the child’s relatives and professionals. A driving license is required and a criminal background check for those working with children will be carried out.
