We are seeking a bilingual (Finnish and English) Early Childhood Education Special Education Teacher for Y.E.S. Daycare. The unit is eight groups, with two preschool classes. The daycare operates in conjunction with Vantaa International School and serves up to 154 children. You will assess children’s support needs, plan and implement support, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with other preschool staff. You will contribute to developing an inclusive teaching culture in collaboration with the daycare director. You will participate in planning and evaluating support processes and targeting. The role emphasizes pedagogical expertise and close cooperation with various stakeholders. You will work with the preschool staff, daycare director, and other child and family service actors. Requirements include strong special education expertise and a friendly, encouraging team player attitude. Proficiency in Finnish is required in writing and speaking. The unit applies the ProVaka model for developing children's social skills. The chosen candidate will work according to these principles in consultation with the unit staff.
