We are hiring an early childhood education teacher for the Tiedonjyvän päiväkoti in Vantaa. The day care center, part of the City of Vantaa’s Education and Learning department, operates in Jokiniemen campus area near Hiekkaharju and Tikkurila railroad stations. The role is permanent and based in the home base of the daycare, within a team of three educators. The group works in a calm, warm, and inclusive environment with emphasis on acoustic-friendly spaces, activity differentiation, and interactions with children of different ages. The educator team collaborates with families and strives to create a warm, playful, and safe culture of practice. The day-to-day includes participating in ProVaka-positive group learning and contributing to positive pedagogy development. The successful candidate will be open to shaping the group’s approach and is expected to engage with a diverse community of families.
