Specialist Doctor

We are seeking a specialist physician for the obstetrics and gynecology unit at Ahvenisto Hospital, part of the Kanta-Häme wellbeing region, for a permanent full-time position. The primary work location is Hämeenlinna. The position includes on-call duties roughly 2–3 times per month, with on-call responder time of 30 minutes. A licensed specialist in obstetrics and gynecology is required. Interest in a versatile university hospital gynecology role including outpatient work and both maternity and gynecology clinics is advantageous. Previous experience with urogynecology patients and urogynecological procedures is beneficial. The unit operates as a teaching site for Tampere University and as a trainer position for specialist education, so pedagogical studies are advantageous.
