Early Years Teacher

We are seeking a qualified early years teacher to join our team in a full-time position, either permanent or fixed-term, starting from 14 September or by agreement. Auta Lasta ry runs two small kindergartens. Our units are located in Intiö and Hietasaari. Our operations are homely, and you will influence daily life in the kindergarten through your strengths and interests. In your role as an early years teacher you will focus on planning and executing group activities in collaboration with your team. The kindergarten cook and cleaning are handled by a kindergarten assistant. We are looking for a skilled, flexible and cooperative colleague who can manage challenging situations in child work. Our work community is open and humorous, and we are flexible with each other. The employer provides occupational health care through Terveystalo and a leisure-time accident insurance, e-Passi 200€/year and the possibility of a tasty lunch as a fringe benefit. Additionally, there are communal recreation activities in spring and autumn. Salary is in accordance with the private early childhood education sector, G24 (2,792.02–3,065.11 €/month, depending on your experience). The placement during the 2026–2027 season is Päiväkoti Eväsreppu in the group for 3–5 year olds. The successful candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in education including training for a kindergarten teacher, or a University of applied sciences degree in social and health care comprising early childhood education and social pedagogy studies. A criminal record extract is required. If needed, the role may be filled temporarily by an underqualified person or a student in the final phase of studies in early childhood education.
