Fish Handler

Fish handler! We are seeking a motivated employee for a permanent contract to work with fish handling at a production facility and logistics center, where fish and fish products are processed in various forms. Job duties include handling and cutting fish in production. Prior experience is not required as training will be provided. We expect: commitment to a long-term employment (at least 12 months), readiness for physically demanding work, fluent Finnish, a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Note that fish handling is physically demanding. Work hours and shifts: three shifts starting at 5:30, 9:30, and 22:00. Shift lengths vary and days can be longer during peak seasons. There is a 30-minute smoothing over the shift boundaries. A time banking system is used where working time balances over six-month periods. Salary and terms: Monthly salary of 2300–2650 €/month according to the shop trade collective agreement, permanent contract, starting immediately upon finding a suitable candidate. Other benefits: potential for career progression within the company; a hygienic certificate is advantageous but not mandatory at start. Why us?
