Psychiatrist

The chief physician in psychiatry will combine clinical work, multidisciplinary collaboration and leadership to influence both patient care and organizational development. The position is a permanent statutory post in the Eastern and Central Uusimaa Psychiatry line, at Porvoo Psychiatry mood disorder outpatient clinic. The role includes leading and developing outpatient activities in collaboration with other supervisors and teams, administrative tasks, and clinical patient care with a focus on mood disorders. The job involves developing treatment processes with other actors in HUS Psychiatry, cooperation with the local wellbeing services county, and potentially supervising residents and medical students. The wage is 8412.75 €/month plus possible experience and other adjustments. Trial period is six months. Qualifications include specialist licensure in psychiatry, experience in leadership roles in psychiatry, interest in developing outpatient care, and excellent cooperative and interaction skills; willingness to lead a multidisciplinary team. Applicants are expected to have a good oral and written Finnish, and at least a satisfactory level in Swedish (or the reverse).
