We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team at Northern Lights Village Saariselkä. The role involves preparing and cooking meals with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service. The cook will maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, collaborate with kitchen staff, adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, manage inventory efficiently, and contribute to menu development with innovative ideas. Requirements include at least 2 years of experience as a cook, knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisine, fluent English, strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations, excellent time management, teamwork skills, and a passion for food and creativity. Beneficial qualifications include knowledge of Finnish or other languages, Finnish food hygiene proficiency, Nordic cuisine experience, dietary and allergen knowledge, and a valid B driver’s license. The work period is from November to March/April, with 112.5 hours every three weeks, and salary is negotiated based on experience.
