About the role
The role sits within Nebius Token Factory, our serverless platform for running and customizing open-source LLMs in production. Token Factory enables serverless inference and fine-tuning (LoRA, full FT, RFT) with in-house optimizations like speculative decoding, quantization, cache-aware routing, and dedicated endpoints. You will collaborate with clients to design optimized inference workflows, build LLM-based solutions, and architect scalable AI applications using our hosted models. Remote work from Europe is supported.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Optimize LLM inference across modalities
- Support supervised and reinforcement learning fine-tuning
- Design LLM-based solutions using Token Factory inference services
- Build production-ready applications with serverless LLM APIs
- Provide expertise in prompt engineering, RAG architectures and model selection
- Collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmap
- Guide customers in scaling from POC to production
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ML/AI systems, with at least 2 years focused on LLMs and generative AI
- Deep knowledge of the LLM ecosystem, including model architectures and fine-tuning approaches
- Hands-on experience with running LLMs in production and deploying inference workloads
- LLM fine-tuning experience (SFT/LoRA) and data preparation/curation; RL-based fine-tuning is a plus
- LLM evaluation and benchmarking; experience with offline/online eval pipelines
- Experience with inference frameworks and libraries (e.g., vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, Transformers)
- Deploying LLM-powered apps via APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models
- Strong Python programming skills
- Excellent communication skills
