Digital Occupational Health Nurse (Part-Time)

We are looking for a digital occupational health nurse for our growing team at Mehiläinen’s Digital Clinic occupational health service. The position is part-time (50%) and fixed-term from 1 January 2027 to 31 August 2027. The work at the Digital Clinic occupational health service includes individual remote coaching programmes for occupational health and private clients, designed to maintain work ability and health. The programmes cover four themes: nutrition and weight management, mental well-being and sleep, increasing physical activity, and reducing substance use. In addition to the programmes, the digital occupational health nurse provides individual guidance and advice to Digital Clinic clients on matters including mental well-being, work ability and supervisory work. We require a public health nurse qualification. Previous experience in occupational health is an advantage. Fluent Finnish and English are required; Swedish is an advantage. Medication competence is verified at Mehiläinen through LOP, vaccination-module and PSYK theory examinations. Work at the Digital Clinic requires confident use of digital tools and the ability to guide clients in using them. The professional’s tool is Mehiläinen’s user-friendly and intuitive patient information system Mehidoc, where documenting visits, billing and communicating with clients is easy and quick. In addition to advanced tools, we provide comprehensive onboarding and a collegial remote-working community. We expect an occupational health nurse to have a coaching and motivating approach, commitment to independent work, the ability and readiness to work remotely, basic knowledge of patient safety and data protection, excellent interaction, communication and customer-service skills, the ability to make independent decisions, manage their own work, actively contribute to occupational health cooperation, and broad expertise in work-ability management and early support. The Digital Clinic occupational health service has a multidisciplinary team. It includes occupational health physicians, general practitioners, occupational health nurses, occupational physiotherapists, nurses and customer-service advisers. Occupational health specialists are available every day from 7:00 to 19:00. General practitioners and nurses provide service 24/7. Occupational health nurses work shifts, including public holidays. Current working hours are Monday to Sunday between 6:00 and 20:30. Remote work is possible after the onboarding period.
