Early Years Teacher

Veikkola Daycare is located near forests, rocks, and a sports park. Your work will be supported by a broad group of Kirkkonummi early childhood professionals: early childhood coordinators, psychologists, language and culture teachers and the pre-school coordinator as well as the digital coordinator and other experts. We value your interest and experience in developing pedagogy for young children. As an early childhood teacher you will be responsible for your team’s pedagogy, assessment and development and participate in the day-to-day work and development of the daycare alongside the principal. We expect you to have strong collaboration skills and a willingness to work collaboratively and constructively. Eligibility: the qualification of an early childhood educator according to the Early Childhood Education Act Section 26 (540/2018). The successful candidate must present a criminal background check within 30 days of notification of appointment (Act on Background Checks for persons working with children 504/2002). The position also requires a health examination under the Health Care Act 55 § covering respiratory tuberculosis.
