Early Childhood Education Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Education Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team at Y.E.S. Päiväkoti in Vantaa. The role involves planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical activities in collaboration with other professionals, taking responsibility for family-centered upbringing, and promoting community and inclusion with guardians and other child-and-family actors. The position is located at Y.E.S. Päiväkoti, a bilingual (English and Finnish) daycare, with groups primarily serving 3–5-year-olds. The successful candidate will contribute to developing services and new practices aimed at child and family well-being and communal belonging, supervising and guiding children, families and guardians, and ensuring a safe and inclusive operating environment. The contract is permanent, based on municipal collective bargaining (KVTES), with a monthly salary of 3113–3218 EUR and experience-based allowances of 3–8%. Requirements include a degree as a Varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomi and proficiency in Finnish and English (speaking and writing). Experience in multicultural work is valued.
