The Mechanical Assembler role involves participating in the construction of vessels for professional use as part of the production team. You will be responsible for the installation, alignment, testing and finishing of engines, propulsion systems, hydraulics and other mechanical systems on vessels according to drawings and work instructions. The work is practical and hands-on, and you will collaborate with other production teams to work with modern systems. Responsibilities include installation and alignment of engines and propulsion systems, installation of hydraulics and other mechanical systems, installation of gearboxes, propeller devices and other machine components, inspection, adjustment and finishing of mechanical devices, testing and verifying operation, safe use of measuring instruments, hand tools and lifting equipment, detection and reporting of deviations, cooperation with other production, electrical and equipment teams, and ensuring high-quality and safe work at all stages. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week. - s suitable vocational training (e.g., mechanical, automotive or metal engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- experience as an installer, mechanic or machine technician in industry, marine industry or heavy equipment
- technical understanding and interest in mechanical systems
- precise, careful and quality-driven work approach
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to learn and develop
- willingness for two-shift work
- LVI skills are a plus
