We are seeking two institutional cleaners for day-care centers in the Northern Early Childhood Education area for permanent positions starting 1 October 2026. The role includes maintenance and basic cleaning, textile care, and in some centers kitchen duties. You will work in day-care centers in Turku city’s northern area as a relay worker, so your workstation may change daily. The workweek runs on weekdays from 7:00 to 17:00. As a cleaning professional you will ensure our facilities are safe and pleasant for children to grow and develop and for our staff to work. The working language is Finnish, so a sufficient command of Finnish is required. We offer diverse work in varying environments and many nice colleagues. What we expect from you? You master the essential principles and practical tasks of cleaning and hygiene, enjoy varied days, are precise and customer-oriented, have a positive work attitude, are motivated and cooperative, can work independently, flexibly and customer-oriented in daily interactions in a daycare environment, and you have a professional cleaning qualification or an equivalent basic qualification and a hygiene passport. Previous daycare cleaning experience is valued. The qualification for the position is a suitable professional qualification or other suitable training.
