We are seeking a Development Engineer for HANZA Mechanics Oulainen Oy at the Oulaisten factory. The role is permanent and involves developing production processes, work methods and operating models together with a skilled team. You will participate in time studies, NPI processes and initiation activities, and work in close collaboration with sales, production, customers and subcontractors. The position suits you if you have an active, problem-solving mindset and strong collaboration skills, and the ability to drive projects to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop production processes, methods, and operating models with the team
- Participate in time studies, NPI processes, and initiation activities
- Collaborate closely with sales, production, customers, and subcontractors
- Lead projects with a determined approach to achieving goals
- Stay updated on new technologies to improve production efficiency and competitiveness
Requirements
- Suitable technical education (e.g., AMK engineer or DI)
- Experience developing production, processes or methods in an industrial environment
- Understanding of Lean, continuous improvement or other development methods
- Good IT skills and willingness to use various production and development systems
- Fluent in Finnish and English
