As a Tool Install Associate Design Lead, you will play a key role in bringing complex manufacturing environments to life by supporting the development of tool installation design packages for some of the industry's most innovative clients.\n\nWorking alongside experienced Design Leads, engineers, and designers, you will help coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across mechanical, process, electrical, and controls systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop technical expertise, gain exposure to leading-edge semiconductor projects, and build the leadership skills needed to progress into a future Design Lead position.\n\nIf you are motivated to learn, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to help shape the future of advanced manufacturing, this is the opportunity for you.\nExplore your tasks and responsibilities\nCollaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to develop high-quality tool installation construction documents that meet project requirements, industry best practices, and client standards.\nPartner with Design Leads to coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and ensure alignment across project stakeholders.\nSupport the delivery of design packages that are accurate, complete, and executed within established scope, schedule, and budget targets.\nAssist in monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks to project objectives.\nWork with Design Leads and Design Managers to support scope management and the development of change orders when project requirements evolve.\nCollaborate with Project Controls teams to review project budgets, forecasts, and resource needs.\nFacilitate client and contractor design review meetings, capture action items and stakeholder feedback, and ensure timely documentation of meeting outcomes.\nParticipate in field walks and learn how a semiconductor factory operates\nProactively track open design and construction issues, working with project teams to develop practical solutions and drive resolution.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, project partners, and internal stakeholders.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and project delivery performance.\nTake ownership of personal development through mentoring, training, and hands-on project experience.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nShow your expertise\nMinimum Required\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field required\nEntry-level position; recent graduates and candidates seeking to begin a career in engineering design and project delivery are encouraged to apply.\n\nPreferred\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.\nPrevious experience or internship exposure within advanced technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial projects.\nExperience working within consulting engineering, construction, or design environments.\nDemonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative team setting.\nExposure to continuous improvement initiatives or Lean methodologies.\nTechnical & Professional Skills\nBasic understanding of engineering and design processes within multidisciplinary project environments.\nFamiliarity with Lean project delivery principles and continuous improvement practices.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Power BI is a plus.\nLeadership & Collaboration Skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.\nSelf-motivated, energetic, and eager to learn.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.\nAbility to build productive relationships with colleagues, department leaders, contractors, and client representatives.\nOpen to coaching and mentorship from experienced professionals.\nStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate challenges and support conflict resolution.\nPositive attitude and willingness to take initiative while leading by example.\nApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.\nNon-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
