Training Consultant

Bonjour, Pennylane is a fast-growing accounting and financial software editor in high growth, already adopted by more than 7,000 accounting firms and 1,300,000 SMEs in France. We offer an innovative tool designed to support the accounting profession in its digital transition. We are seeking Trainer profiles with solid accounting experience to accompany our partner firms on taking up our tool. As a freelance training consultant, your main objective will be to propose the best training module to new firms, ensuring they can extract the best value from our tool in the shortest possible timing. The zone to cover is Montpellier. You are available at least 3 days per week for this mission. The first two months: onboarding with mentor and training manager, shadowing, product training modules to validate onboarding. 3-4 months: gain autonomy, manage orders. Daily rhythm split into pre-training, training, and post-training. Responsibilities include gathering training needs, collaborating with the Pedagogical Coordinator, leading trainee groups (5-25), understanding learners’ requests, adapting pedagogy, gathering feedback, evaluating, and handing over to the coordinator for long-term client follow-up. After 6 months: training more strategic clients and expanding the training catalog. Essential accounting experience in an Expert Accounting Firm; availability and geographic mobility (at least 10 days/month; travel ~2h from home); strong relational and pedagogical skills; digital tool mastery (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace); fast learning; comfortable with presentations and videoconferencing; commitment to Pennylane’s community of trainers.
