Night Receptionist

Are you the night receptionist we are looking for at Saariselkä? Star Arctic Hotel is situated on a unique location at the top of a fell, in the Arctic wilderness with stunning national park scenery. The hotel offers premium accommodation in spectacular suites where guests can sleep above the clouds and enjoy Lapland’s quietness at its best. Tailor-made full-service packages make holidays effortless, and the diverse activities offer something for every taste. The onsite restaurant Kaunis serves Lapland-inspired flavors in both the restaurant and bar, and the evening can end by the fireplace in the lounge bar. The hotel’s motto Passion for Lapland is visible in everything we do. We are now seeking a skilled night receptionist for Saariselkä for the winter season 2026-2027. As night receptionist you work when others sleep. Day-to-day duties include guest check-in and check-out for high-quality accommodation, processing reports, customer service, and preparing for the next day. You will work independently on the night shift and ensure smooth hotel operations. We hope you have previous reception experience, an independent work approach, and fluent English. The full-time fixed-term contract begins mid-November and lasts until the end of the winter season, March 2027, for 90 hours/3 weeks. We follow the Hospitality and Catering industry collective agreement; salary according to agreement and experience. Accommodation is arranged in Saariselkä centre, with a private room at a reasonable rent. We look for: education and/or previous night receptionist experience, independent and solution-oriented approach, excellent customer service skills, fluent English (team and guests are international), knowledge of Mews / Fareharbor systems is an asset, driver’s license B and own car help with commuting and moving around the area.
