Project Work Manager

We are recruiting a project works manager for a concrete pile factory in Pori, Kartanon area. The role starts in November 2026 and the planned duration is about 4 months, with potential extension to a permanent contract if the project goes well. As Project Works Manager you will be responsible for the smooth daily operations of the factory and for production management. The role is a versatile blend of personnel leadership, production steering, and operational development. Key tasks include: daily leadership and organization of staff; planning, directing and monitoring production; coordinating tasks and resources; ensuring safety and smooth work processes; solving production-related issues; cooperating with various stakeholders; creating new operating methods and practices for the factory; continuous development of production and factory operations. In this role you will not stay at the office but will be involved in day-to-day activities and lead production in practice. We are looking for someone with: experience in supervision of staff or production front-line roles; good organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to lead people clearly and fairly; proactive and hands-on work attitude; willingness to develop operations and build new effective practices; ability to work under pressure and make decisions; knowledge of concrete industry or construction is considered an advantage, but the right attitude and leadership approach are most important.
