Early Childhood Education Teacher

This vacancy is for a temporary teaching position in the Vantaa city’s early childhood education unit Illenpihan Yksikkö. The role involves implementing a sensitive and safe daily routine where the child is at the center of activity, reading the needs of children and the team, and applying various teaching methods. The unit operates with two teachers and one childminder, and we are seeking a teacher to join the group as a substitute with potential for permanent placement. The unit belongs to the early childhood education unit along with Illenpuiston päiväkoti. The team is developmental, proactive, and positive. We value each other’s strengths and encourage experimentation. We work according to the ProVaka model to support children’s social skills. The employee commits to operating according to the model’s principles with the rest of the unit’s staff. Excellent written and spoken Finnish is required. Illenpihan päiväkoti is in Kartanonkoski, with good transport links, in a park-like setting. We start reviewing applications and interviewing during the posting period.
