We are looking for a Specialist Supervisor for Nuotta’s demanding inpatient unit Koho on a permanent contract. The work is carried out in three shifts with a emphasis on evenings, mornings and weekends. Our skilled and humorous team consists of practical nurses, youth and leisure instructors, nurses, social workers and community educators. The workplace is dynamic and busy, and it is easy to integrate into it. You will receive guidance from a supervising mentor, Hannele, and our management is present in day‑to‑day life. Nuorisokoti Nuotta Koho is a demanding inpatient unit that provides rehabilitative foster care for adolescents with behavioural and psychiatric needs. As a Specialist Supervisor you will perform a one‑to‑one coaching role, support and encourage children and youths in everyday challenges, conduct rehabilitative work and participate in the assessment of care and upbringing. Salary: the base salary for a Specialist Supervisor is 2495.24–3016.00 EUR/month depending on prior relevant experience; on top, shift allowances and the unit’s demanding inpatient care allowance of 151.50 EUR/month are paid according to the local collective agreement. What we expect from you? You hold a Social Services degree (AMK). The role is designed with you; we try to accommodate your strengths and interests. You must present a recent criminal background check (for work with children) under section 6, subsection 2 of the Finnish Police Act, and you must hold a social and health care professional card at the start of employment. We value prior experience working with children and youths, especially in child‑protection settings.
