Nurse

Nurses at Helsinki Diabetes Center will support and guide patients in diabetes care and self-management across disease stages. The role includes independent patient intake, patient education through the Maisa patient portal and telephone contacts. The nurse is part of the diabetes team and a multi-professional work community. We value previous experience in diabetes care, a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn. The position offers varied work with extensive education and development possibilities. As city employees, nurses may apply for rental housing through Auroranlinnasta, with priority given to employee housing applications. A meal benefit is also provided, plus a city bike and access to the city employees’ recreation island if desired. Start date: 1 November 2026 or by agreement. Interviews in two stages.
